Howdy. I’m an engineering leader and coach. For fourteen years I’ve built the platforms underneath consumer businesses: commerce and checkout, subscriptions and billing, marketplaces, marketing platforms, identity. I’ve grown a startup’s engineering from a single engineer into the whole function, reporting to the CEO, and built teams from zero inside orgs many times that size. And I’ve spent a parallel decade explaining that work out loud, on stage and on camera, which turns out to be half the job.
